Colin Stough, the 20-year-old “American Idol” fan-favorite, has been arrested for alleged drunk driving in Tennessee after a car crash, TMZ has learned.

Authorities tell us … Colin was taken into custody early Friday after highway patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-840 East near the 37-mile marker in Williamson County, which is just outside of Nashville.

Colin was arrested and charged with DUI, underage consumption of alcohol, and failure to exercise due care, TMZ is told. It was not clear if he suffered any injuries in the crash, but he was taken to the hospital and cleared before he was booked. He has since bailed out.

Idol fans remember Colin from season 21 when he placed third behind winner Iam Tongi and runner-up Megan Danielle back in 2023.

Just 18 when he auditioned for “American Idol” … Colin blew away judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan when he auditioned with Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man.”

Ryan Seacrest is getting big with one of his bros in the gym … sharing a workout video with the guy who replaced him on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” — Mark Conseulos!

The popular host shared a short clip to social media Friday which shows Consuelos doing sit-ups … telling fans he’s just trying to get a workout in.

But, when he goes back to the ground, Seacrest is revealed to be stretching out behind him … and, MC keeps ending up right between his pal’s legs whenever he’s fully laid back.

The two dudes are barely holding back the giggles … clearly enjoying seeing each other — and, they even posed for a gym selfie with their muscles bulging too.

Of course, Mark and Ryan have known each other for years as Ryan has been close with the family since beginning hosting duties on ‘Live’ with Kelly Ripa in 2017.

Ryan left the show in 2023 … and, Mark took over for him last year — appearing on weekday mornings alongside his wife of more than two decades.

Michelle Trachtenberg‘s death shocked many in the film industry … and, clearly she wasn’t expecting it either — ’cause she had plans for a major appearance in the coming weeks.

Jennifer Hutchins — a producer on the film “Spyral,” Michelle’s final credit — tells TMZ … Trachtenberg was supposed to appear at a benefit screening of the movie in Austin for SXSW on March 12 to support mental health nonprofits.

Hutchins says the “Spyral” team knew she was struggling with health issues … but, if she was well enough, she planned to attend either in person or via Zoom.

Trachtenberg — who reads excerpts from the diary of Michelle Cody White, filmmaker Randall White‘s wife who suffered from undiagnosed bipolar depression before her death — performed the voice work back in 2021 … though the doc didn’t premiere until last year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The producers of the movie are still trying to reach a public distribution deal so they can release the flick wide … and, raising money for a good cause along the way with benefits like this.

We’re told the March 12 event will go forward as planned — but, the team will also work to honor Michelle’s legacy. The event will feature a private viewing of the film, guest speakers, and live entertainment to raise awareness and funds for mental health resources, including the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

As you know …. Michelle’s mother found her unresponsive in her New York City apartment Wednesday — and, first responders pronounced her dead at the scene.

Trachtenberg had a liver transplant in the months before her death … though it’s unclear if that played a part in her passing. Her family has declined to have an autopsy performed.

Hutchins remembers Trachtenberg as “one of the sweetest, most gentle human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. I could tell she cared deeply about people and using her voice for the greater good.” She adds Michelle’s performance in “Spyral” was so powerful it brought people working on the film to tears. Trachtenberg was 39.

Gene Hackman‘s two dogs that were found alive when authorities searched his home are safe and in the care of local officials.

According to a sheriff’s press release, Santa Fe County Animal Control is reportedly working with Hackman’s family to “ensure the safety of the two dogs.”

Gene and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, had three dogs — one of which was found dead by deputies inside a bathroom closet. The German Shepherd was lying 10-15 feet away from Arakawa, who was also found deceased on the bathroom floor — with prescription pills scattered nearby.

A spokesperson for the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ … an autopsy has not been performed on the deceased dog yet, but testing has not been ruled out. That will depend on the findings from the autopsy reports for Gene and Betsy.

It will be a while before the results of Gene and Betsy’s autopsies are revealed … with sources telling us it’ll take 4 to 6 weeks for toxicology and other tests to be completed before the final report is issued.

As for the two surviving dogs … the search warrant affidavit says deputies saw one of them running loose on the property, while the other healthy dog was found inside near Betsy’s body.

Gene Hackman‘s death and the deaths of his wife and dog are puzzling authorities, who have labeled his passing “suspicious.”

According to a search warrant, obtained by TMZ, a Santa Fe detective who sought a search warrant wrote in his affidavit, he believes “the death of the two deceased individuals to be suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation because the reporting party found the front door of the residence unsecured and opened.”

The detective continues, “Deputies observed a healthy dog running loose on the property, another healthy dog near the deceased female, a deceased dog laying 10-15 feet from the deceased female in a closet of the bathroom, the heater being moved, the pill bottle being opened and pills scattered next to the female, the male decedent being located in a separate room of the residence, and no obvious signs of a gas leak.”

Breaking this down … Gene’s wife, Betsy Arakawa, was found in the bathroom on the ground near the countertop, lying on her right side. The deputy saw a black space heater near her head. The deputy believed the heater could have fallen in the event Betsy abruptly fell to the ground.

The deputy also noticed an orange prescription bottle on the countertop, which was open with pills scattered on the countertop. It appears she had been dead for some time, because the body was in a state of decomposition with bloating in her face and mummification in her hands and feet.

Gene was found in a separate room off the kitchen. He was fully clothed and they suspected he may have suddenly fallen, because his sunglasses were found next to his body.

The fire department came and advised they did not see any signs of carbon monoxide leak or poisoning. The New Mexico Gas Company came to the residence and conducted testing on the gas lines in and around the house, and concluded, “As of now, there are no signs or evidence indicating there were any problems associated to the pipes in and around the residence.”

The deceased dog, a German Shepherd, was found 10 to 15 feet from Betsy, in a closet of the bathroom. Two other dogs were found alive and healthy — one inside the house and one outside.

The bodies were discovered by 2 maintenance workers, who said they hadn’t seen them in approximately 2 weeks. When the maintenance workers arrived to discover the bodies, the front door was ajar, but the deputy says there were no signs of forced entry.

They made their opinions loud and clear, protesting the hazardous waste and toxic ash deposited in a nearby disposal site, which poses an ongoing health threat to residents … and it’s dangerously close to an elementary school.

Kourtney and company were out with powerful signs like “Don’t Poison My Playground!” and “Calabasas Is Not an Ashtray,” as tension reached a boiling point. Sheriff’s deputies were on the scene, and one man was even arrested.

This all came after L.A. County Superior Court Judge Stephen Goorvitch denied a request for a temporary restraining order that would’ve stopped ash from being dumped in Calabasas.

Legendary actor and two-time Oscar winner Gene Hackman has been found dead inside his Santa Fe, New Mexico home alongside his wife, Betsy Arakawa, and their dog, TMZ has confirmed.

The bodies of Hackman and Arakawa were discovered Wednesday afternoon, with Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirming the news just after midnight on Thursday.

The sheriff’s office reportedly told NBC affiliate KOB of Albuquerque a welfare check was conducted at his home after a concerned neighbor called the police.

No foul play is suspected and no causes of death have been released.

Hackman — who had three Golden Globes and the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award to his name — and Arakawa, a classical pianist, were married for 34 years.

Among the actor’s iconic films were 1971’s “The French Connection,” 1978 and 1980’s “Superman” and “Superman II,” and 1986’s “Hoosiers.” He won his first Oscar for his portrayal of New York City policeman Popeye Doyle in “The French Connection,” and his second for his role as Sheriff Little Bill Daggett in Clint Eastwood’s 1992 western, “Unforgiven.”

In 2013, he credited his father ditching his family and literally waving as he walked out the door with helping him become an actor, telling Vanity Fair … “I doubt I would’ve become so sensitive to human behavior if that hadn’t happened to me as a child — if I hadn’t realized how much one small gesture can mean.”

Before Hackman found a prolific acting career, he served four and a half years in the Marines, beginning at age 16. He reportedly enlisted after spending a night in jail for stealing candy and soda, and even lied about his age to get into the service.

He then moved on to journalism and TV production before enrolling in the Pasadena Playhouse in California at age 27. There, he became quick friends with fellow aspiring actor Dustin Hoffman.

Recalling his fast bond with Hoffman, he told Vanity Fair … “There was something about him that — like he had a secret. You just knew he was going to do something.”

Before marrying Arakawa, the ‘Conversation’ actor was wed to Faye Maltese for 30 years.

He graced the screen for five decades before he retired from acting in 2004, with his last credit being “Welcome to Mooseport,” in which he starred opposite Ray Romano.

He told GQ in 2011 that he’d like to be remembered as a “decent actor,” adding … “As someone who tried to portray what was given to them in an honest fashion. I don’t know, beyond that.”

Hackman was 95 at the time of his death … Arakawa was 63.

Blake Lively‘s remembering her former costar Michelle Trachtenberg … saying she always gave 200% effort and she always stood up for what she believed in.

The actress took to Instagram just hours after it was announced that Michelle had passed to pay homage to the star … sharing a photo of their first day meeting and talking about her former “Gossip Girl” costar.

Blake says she brought an electricity to every room she walked into … always living life to the fullest — laughing hard at jokes, taking on authority head-on when she saw injustice and added she was proud to be an actor even when the industry can be difficult.

Lively also mentions a specific detail … saying Michelle always wore a caramel scented lip gloss — a scene she now associates with Trachtenberg clearly.

Lively tells her fans not to take any chance to see old friends for granted … because tragedy can strike when you least expect it — and, you’ll always treasure time with loved ones.

Blake ends her post by saying the world lost a “deeply sensitive and good person in Michelle.”

Trachtenberg and Lively worked together on multiple episodes of “Gossip Girl” … with Michelle playing Georgina Sparks — a troublesome, hard-partying friend of Blake’s Serena van der Woodsen.

While originally conceived as the series’ main antagonist, Michelle’s character had a shorter run on the series of just 28 episodes — though her character ultimately found her way into the good graces of the protagonists’ inner circle.

Michelle was pronounced dead early Wednesday morning after police and paramedics responded to a call for a woman in cardiac arrest, and found Michelle unresponsive, law enforcement sources told us. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Another source told us Michelle received a liver transplant in the past year … unclear if that played a role in her death, but we’re told cops are looking at this as a natural death.

Ed Westwick — another of Michelle’s “Gossip Girl” costars — as well as a handful of others, also posted for Michelle Wednesday.

Trachtenberg is also known for her roles in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “17 Again,” “Inspector Gadget,” “EuroTrip,” “Mercy” and many more.

A separate source tells us the actress had received a liver transplant recently … meaning within the last year. At this point, police reportedly believe she died of natural causes.

We’re told Michelle was out with friends Thursday night of last week at Sartiano’s in NYC.

In recent months, she had posted photos where fans felt she appeared gaunt and frail.

Michelle defended her appearance, calling out “haters” and saying, “Explain to me how I look sick.” She also reminded followers, “Did you lose a calendar and not realize I’m not 14. I’m 38. How sad for you to leave such a comment.”

In another post, she made it clear she never had plastic surgery, and was “happy and healthy.”

Michelle rose to fame as a child star in “Harriet the Spy” — later becoming a household name in her role as Dawn Summers on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” then took on the Upper East Side as Georgina Sparks in “Gossip Girl.”

A rep for Michelle tells TMZ … “It is with great sadness to confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away. The family requests privacy for their loss. There are no further details at this time.”

Matthew Perry‘s final days were flooded with ketamine — 27 doses in the three days before his tragic death in October 2023, a bombshell new documentary has revealed.

Peacock’s “Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy” was released Tuesday, with U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada — who led the investigation — pointing fingers at the people who allegedly supplied Perry with the powerful anesthetic.

According to Estrada, these weren’t just medical professionals — they were opportunists who “should have known much better.”

Dr. Salvador Plasencia was one name at the center of the doc, which claims text messages show he saw Perry’s addiction as a money-making machine, and he allegedly cashed in. But he’s not alone — alongside him in the legal hot seat is alleged drug dealer Jasveen Sangha, AKA the “Ketamine Queen.”

Five arrests were made in Perry’s death probe, including two doctors, his longtime assistant, and a suspected drug dealer.

While some await trial in March 2025, Perry’s former live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, already pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death.

Estrada says in the documentary … “In the past, we used to call these things ‘overdose deaths’ and do more blaming of the victim. We don’t do that anymore.” Instead, he explained, the focus is on holding drug dealers and reckless prescribers accountable.

Perry had been open about his struggles with addiction and substance abuse. His autopsy later confirmed his passing was due to acute effects of ketamine — and the manner was ruled an accidental drowning.
